Throughout the Bible the written word is made equal with God. He has given his word his own attributes. When dealing with God's word, we are dealing with him. Throughout the Bible, the "Written Word" (The Bible) is compared to and said to be equal with the "Living Word" (Christ). For example, the phrases "God saith" and "scripture saith" are used interchangeably.
This is a brief list of some parallels between the written and livng word. Can you think of others?
