View Full Version : How I feel about Watchman

Knowing he will give all humbly give all glory to God

Even so there is nothing unscriptural in expressing my appreciation for him. In fact scripture tells us to encourage each other in the faith. and in that vain I was reading scripture today and came across this passage and it reminded me of him.

Acts 28:30 And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him,
31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

And as you also a Hebrew and also a student of the Laws of God dwell in your house and steadfastly teach and gracefully holdfast the doctrines of faith that have been given to you to all those who come with all confidence.

I praise God for you.

It is a blessing.

This is why Watchman has his own international fan club.

Seriously though, he is truly an admirable person and this place wouldn't be as much fun without him!

Great post BHiles!

I suffer with the flesh as everyone does.
All that is good is of G-d.
Often I pass by the spiritual mirror, and for a moment, I see the "covering" of Messiah, slip, then a glimpse of who and what I am, the lowest sinner at the bottom of the abyss.

And then I see His "coat" (His atoning covering blood) then I realize I also have his "cloak" (the Holy Spirit).

And I go, knowing that I do not come as a naked wretched man, nor one who has tried to cover his nakedness in filthy rags, but a vessel, covered and clothed in order that He can be manifest.

Just as we see and recognize a Officer of the Law and we do not see the man (or woman) but the uniform, and the Law that it represents, and we respond.

The coat and the cloak, they are the authority that is represented, and I do my best to wear them proudly and in a manner that dignifies and honors G-d.

I covet everyone's prayers, and to G-d be all Glory and Honor!

In all seriousness Watchman I think most people would agree that your gentle spirit, your wit and compassion is what draws people to you because they are sensing Jesus within you. :hug

Well put, watchmen without Him we are nothing, In Him we are the blessing we are called to be - To Him be All the glory, He allows us a glimpse of it by giving us his joy!
I too enjoy your watchful eye and godly wisdom on this board. May the Lord meet all your needs according to his riches in glory. Gott vergelt's!
