Anybody else getting tired of this world?

It happened so slowly at first i didnt notice. First, i lost interest in console games. Then all my favorite tv programs got canceled or went off the air. Then i lost interest in online games which usually have always kept me entertained. I feel like this may be a natural progression as we get closer to the rapture perhaps our longing for heaven grows greater? That is how i feel now, it seems like everything is just going downhill. Morality, tv, politics, the economy, the environment. It becomes much easier to focus on heaven when you realize how much the earth is going downhill fast.

Do I long for heaven Yes
I am I tired of the world sort of .Yes I am tired of the violence
But I still think there is hope for the world. There is still a lot to be done and people who need to be saved before we go.
I wake up every morning glad that I am alive and able to share another day with those who I love. Life is a gift that is God given and I appreciate each day I have with my Dh and kids and family.
When it is time for us to go with the Lord I will be happy but until then I will be happy with each day that is given to us.

I'm tired of a world full of sin, but -

There is still a lot to be done and people who need to be saved before we go.

Maybe you've become bored of these entertainments because there is something more important God is calling you to do.

yep ...

... just looking around at all the stuff talked about in the Bible that is happening ... and the players are being put in place, the rapture appears to be so close ... been praying for those that do not believe in Jesus, according to His will ... all Who seek Him will find Him ...

looking up and continuing on day by day ... awaken every day thankful for another day of life and for being another day closer to eternity ...

My head has been done with this old world for some time. However, my heart still has attachments to the world, that God has been working with me to remove. I am now trying to just cling to the hem of His garment, instead of this world. Thank goodness for His grace. I am ready to go home, anytime He is ready.
