Just wanted to share what happened at my church tonight.
Tonight we had some guest speaker guy and from what I heard he talks about healing and faith and whatnot. So anyways, I was sorta dragged there tonight being doubtful and whatnot. I arrived and worship was going on, grabbed a seat in the back with my stepdad and I was basically just saying the words of the song, not really worshipping. Anyways the speaker starts to preach during the music playing, he wanted to keep it playing and everyone standing and sorta worshipping abit while he spoke. So anyways he started talking about Jesus sitting on the throne in heaven next to God and then he walked up to a women in my church who i sorta knew, asked if he could pray over her and he did in the middle of the aisle and prayed for her to be emotionally healed and depression and her broken heart. Told her to open her heart for the Lord so he can heal her and deliver her, then she fell down on the floor. Now he did this to about 3 other people after her and they all fell down to the floor. Now i started to think "Is this guy just putting on some show or is this real" I hate how i doubt so much but anyways I just kept watching. He started to talk abit more about faith and healing and how the holy spirit/Jesus/God live actually inside your heart and it isn't just a metaphor. Then when he finished speaking he went up to a couple more people who i actually knew, and said some things about their life and prayed over them and they all fell to the ground too. Then he started a altar call sorta, he just stood near the front and touched and prayed over people and they all fell. And i was like doubting it hard and battleing over if this is real or not. But then he asked to pray over this girl named sarah who i actually knew from my young adult group. He started to say how strong of an anointing she had over her, like she is a special vessel for the lord. Then said "He sees you when you sing to him in the morning, and at night, you are going to be singing and speaking the actual word of God" Then he started to pray over her saying his spirit is coming, get ready for it, and she fell to the ground and started screaming with her back arching upwards, like REALLY loud screaming and he said she was filled with his spirit very strong. It sorta shocked me and I was like uhh wow i'm not used to this lol. So i was like this is probably real but I was now more fearful of this then I was doubting it. After about 10-20 mins longer I felt such a strong urge to go up and get prayed over, but i was very resistant to do so, It was like i was fighting myself over it. Eventually I went up, sorta stood in the back of the group of people. Then he was like the spirit is strong over here! And comes over to near the section i was, and all these people fell in front of me, like everyone did. So now i was sorta alone in front of the guy. Then he calls me up with my pastor saying there is a strong anointing over me or something, they started to pray over me, and So i was like "Alright i'll just open my heart for the Lord to see if this is real or not" As i did I felt his presence very strong inside me and around me. Then all of a sudden the guy says "Who is kevin?" And i was SHOCKED and I was like umm he is my friend online ( someone I was friends with in a online video game ) and he told me, as I was being touched now, he is also. That He is going to come to Christ, after I talk to him. I was so amazed, because I NEVER spoke to this man before in my life, no one knew my online friend except me so I was like "WOW this has to be from God, I can't believe this," And then all my doubts and fears over the Lord was gone and I just was filled with his spirit and I fell to the ground. It was amazing, and I was just overwhelmed in his presence. Then when I got up, the guy told me "Hey the Lord isn't done yet!" And he prays over me again, this time for healing, said the Lord is now healing everything in my body to brand new, a new brain and everything, emotional and physical" Then as I had faith in it and accepted it, I fell again in his presence and was dwelling in it for awhile.
When I got up from the floor it was weird, I was like new and had a new view on everything. It was awesome and now I have no doubts about the Lord anymore, I have such awesome proof of him from this experience doubts and everything else are just laughable. I see his word now as the real truth, and everything. I now have a confience in him which i needed so I could grow in him.
Funny thing is, If i didn't obey the "push" to go up there. None of this would of happened to me.
