Hi, everybody!

Today, as every friday night, I have a Prayer Meeting with a Group of friends in which normally we pray for various issues, mostly of our personal, family, Friends, and Church Issues, and just 2 times (when we were only 3-4 present) had we literaly had a personal prayer like in a Devotional, but without Reading Scripture.

All Morning have I meditated on the possibility of having a group devotional, since we are again going to be 4, Me and 3 Girls, all single.

My idea is to begin with a Passage of Scripture (I was thinking Hebrews 12, because most of Us are having trials in our Schools and Jobs, and the discipline of the Lord are coming to our lives)

My Question is, Have you Guys had any kind of Group Devotionals with people other than your family?, Have you any advice for having one? Should I pray, or let the Girls pray as well, as i'm going to be THE man (:lol)?

Ok Everything you can say or helping me pray over this is going to be appreciated.

God Bless
Ps. Admin, feel free to move this thread from forum if you think so appropiate...thanks...
Ps2. Please Correct the Typo of the Thread's title Devotinal to Devotional

The only group devotional-like thing I've been involved in is what is structured by the church that I'm a member of.

You seem to have the desire to grow deeper in your walk with Christ and help others do that as well. Have you looked at all into finding a church where you could do this this in a more structured sense? Specifically, something that's got overseeing it seasoned Christians who could help & guide you along the way?

Thanks for the advice, certainly i'm going to Ask my teacher and Pastors for guidance on this, because it's a normal prayer meeting between friends but having heard about family devotionals i'd think of the idea of having a friend's devotional. In fact i asked it here because i'd liked to know if anyone had done it previously, basically because some people cancelled their attendance at the last minute and i had no time to contact my pastors.

What i was also glad (because i was a little concerned about it :fear) was to lead an all girls group, the funny thing was that two girls cancelled (who were coming) and the two guys who weren't comming did come and so we were balanced.

Well thanks for Replying and for your kind words Cjones
