EASTER: based on the moon vs. PASSOVER: based on the Bible:
Christians/Churches have been remembering the wrong day for Jesus’ death since the Nicean Council in 325 AD. The Nicean Council changed the day to observe the death of Jesus from the Biblical Passover date (the date when the Passover lamb was being sacrificed in the temple while Jesus was being sacrificed on the cross) to a date which the pagans used to celebrate the rebirth of Ishtar (pronounced like Easter).
This Ishtar/”Easter” celebration dealt with the rebirth of Ishtar when she fell from heaven in a large egg and fell into the River Euphrates. She broke out of the egg and she changed a rabbit so it laid eggs. In celebration of this event: the pagan priests sacrificed babies and then dyed eggs in the babies’ blood to honor Ishtar each year thereafter. This date/celebration was used for the death of Jesus by the Nicean Council. So it has been ever since that time. Each year the Christians/Churches do Easter and eggs while they do away with Passover; the real time of Jesus’ death. Traditions of men are more fun, don’t you know! HAPPY ISHTAR!
Some churches today, will only allow eggs to be dyed blood red. They don’t have a clue; they just keep on doing it. Somewhat like the Christians/Churches today! They observe the Easter date with the Easter eggs. My church (Plainview Open Bible Church, Brookville, Ohio) goes in for making Easter eggs for profit. They make them by the thousands. Jesus must be so happy! The Christians/Churches are following after the Priests of Ishtar who dyed eggs with babies’ blood in celebration of the re-birth of Ishtar. The sacrificing of babies and the dyeing of eggs in their blood is still being remembered each year by Christians/Churches as they are led by their pastors.
All the while, the only people showing up at Passover are the Jewish people who are still remembering the Passover of the death angel in Egypt and the Messianic Christians who worship on the Sabbath and honor the feasts of God; not men.
Jesus, our savior, who died for us on the cross, is left out by the Christians/Churches at Passover. On that date the churches are empty, no celebration going on (nothing to see here, move on). The death and resurrection of Jesus is what Christianity is all about and yet on Passover, Jesus is forgotten. Pastors have led their people to honor Easter and eggs; Ishtar must be pleased. Pass out those eggs, don’t miss anyone.
I know what you are saying: Easter and Easter eggs don’t mean that to me. God has heard those same words from the Jewish people when they also incorporated pagan rites into their lives and tried to use them to worship God with them.
Does truth and facts matter? To you? To God?
EASTER based on the Moon:
Easter may occur at any time from March 22 to April 25; being the first Sunday after the full moon on or next after Vernal Equinox.
“This was achieved in 1583 A.D. using skill and common-sense by Pope Gregory the 13th, and his astronomers and mathematicians, predominantly Lilius and Clavius, by introducing their new larger (revised) PFM Gregorian dates table. This replaced the (original) 326 A.D. "19 PFM dates" table in the Julian calendar as set forth earlier by the Catholic Church by the Nicean Council in 325 AD.
Easter Sunday, from 326 A.D. onward, is always one of the 35 dates March 22 to April 25.” as set forth by the Catholic Church and based on the moon and the feast to Celebrate the rebirth of Ishtar.
Before 326 A.D. the death of Christ was observed at Passover the date when He really died.
PASSOVER based on the Bible: (Also called “Festival of Unleavened Bread”):
Passover Begins on the 14th day of Nisan (per Exodus 12:18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even) of the Jewish calendar. This is an 8 day observation per Exodus 12:14-17
Exodus 12:14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
Exodus 12:15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
Exodus 12:16 And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.
Exodus 12:17 And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
The Passover ended with the death of a lamb and the eating of same in a Passover meal.
Jesus became the literal fulfillment of this Feast in that He was crucified on the cross at the same time the sacrificial lamb was being killed in the temple.

It is hard to reveal facts and truth that are contrary to existing traditions without confusion or making people feel defensive. To find out that Jesus died at Passover instead of Easter is quite a shock to most people.
It is sad that the truth/facts concerning Easter can not be found or taught in the church.
When I was shown the truth, it was hard to understand why I was never taught this in the church. I knew that Jesus died at Passover. I knew also that eggs were not related to Passover or Jesus' death.
Some years, Easter and Passover are a month apart.
Passover begins: Exodus 12:18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even...based on the Bible.
While Easter is based on the moon and Vernal Equinox!
The Feast of Ishtar date is now the Easter date based on the moon.
The facts and truth should come to us from the church and not the library.
Worst yet, is when the truth and facts are sacrificed upon the altar of traditions of men.
Jesus' death at Passover to be our sacrificial lamb should be the heart of Christianity.
It is hard to tell the story of Jesus' death without relating the Passover story. That is why Jesus went to Jerusalem.
