This tread is a spin-off from LostandFound's thread "How do we know we are pleasing God?"
It's such an important question for a Christian to ask. It may be THE most important thing to ponder in the entire world.
There are only two sides whereby the spirit realm acts from.
We, as humans respond through or react from one of those two sides.
Our Father is either God or Satan, but we can't serve both.
Strict obedience to the Ten Commandments is so important that I just
can't stress it enough!!!
And above that, Loving God with all of our strength and treating people as we would want to be treated.
I live this... I'm not just typing what sounds right.
The blessings from God are absolutely fantastic on a daily basis!!!

Here's a good starting place for those who may need to clean house a bit. If you're like me, you have probably accumulated things over the years from the internet that you shouldn't have on your computer.
You may have a P2P file sharing program... Get rid of it!!! You are most likely an accomplice to thieft and don't even know it.
Delete any full version hacked programs or music that you downloaded from a P2P program. Look around your house and start tossing that stuff out.
God knows every single thing you have whether it be a blessing from Him or not.

In doing this type of inventory plus strict obedience to His Commandments, you will also cleanse your mind and make a stand for God.

Change your radio station in your car to Christian music. Saturate yourself with Jesus anyway you can.

If you cuss a little now and then, stop doing that.

And most importantly... treat sinners and unsaved people around you like Jesus treated you before you found Him. He GREATLY LOVED us while we were still lost and sinning up a storm. That's the kind of LOVE that really counts!!! If we can speak kindly to those around us that are rude and mean to us, we are allowing Jesus to do His good work through us. It takes a little faith to act this way, but it's like an investment with a wonderful return.

We should put it in our minds beforehand that we will not be well received by some, and our love that we extend to them will be trampled upon. Don't let that discourage you, but let the Lord's love continue through that moment, because not only do you have to prove to God that you are the REAL deal, but you also will have to prove to Satan that you are truely born again and The Resurrected Christ is acting through you. Try not to slip up, because Satan is the world's biggest tattle tale and his minnions are busy 24/7 making lists and bringing charges against you before the Throne of God.

Now, the Blood of Christ forgives us of our sins, but to continously sin without showing maturity and growth in the Christian walk is stubborness and selfishness holding on where it should be released daily.

The moment I wake up, I start conversing with God through Jesus. I mention Him throughout the day with co-workers so that there is no doubt in anyone's mind that I am a Christian. Confess Jesus to someone you haven't confessed Him to yet. God will be moved, and you will be blessed.

What are my blessings from God lately?
I sat in church last Sunday next to my wife's ex-husband. Figure that one out.
My daughter's engaged now to a wonderful man and we are leading them to the Lord slowly but surely.
The Lord opened a door at my employment. When the Lord opens a door, you can drive a Mac Truck through it!!!
Most of all, I came back to the Lord through the prayers of my wife.

Obedience is the KEY... WE ARE BEING TESTED DAILY.... You are being watched very very closely!!!

And remember... When a mean person crosses your path and they mock what you stand for or even worse, WHO you stand for, just remember that they are being held captive by Satan and if they were to truely see the end game, they would cry out to God from their bondage to have Him make them free. So, forgive them and continue on in love.
