Mentally Exhausted After A Websearch

I was reading parts of Daniel and Revelation today, and got it in my head to do a google search of "Mystery Babylon". I can't believe all the weird stuff out there. Besides all the usual Roman Catholic Church bashing, I even read something about the Statue Of Liberty being built by a Mason who designed it as a statue of the Egyptian goddess Isis, and it was originally planned for the Suez Canal. So, in that particular author's opinion is why the US is the source of the woman and the beast of the book of Revelation.

Do any of you know a better commentary worth reading?

The Statute of Liberty was given to the U.S. as a gift from France. There is a lot of garbage on the internet, which is why it's both a blessing and a curse.
