and locusts and all other non needed creatures.

Anyone know?

We could say it has somthing to do with the eco system, but I just can not figure how a roach could add anything to the eco system?????:confused :D:

I believe all creatures God created have a purpose - we just haven't discovered them all yet :):

There world is a complex set of symbiotic relationships - change one thing (e.g, eradicate a species) and there is often a domino effect on other things in creation that we never imagined were dependent on the first thing.

The complexity of the world is a further testament to God's glory - Praise the Lord for He is an awesome God! :thumb

From the Wikipedia page about cockroaches:

It is popularly suggested that cockroaches will "inherit the earth" if humanity destroys itself in a nuclear war. Cockroaches do indeed have a much higher radiation resistance than vertebrates, with the lethal dose perhaps 6 to 15 times that for humans.

So they're biding their time under people's sinks waiting for their opportunity.:spy

:lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

Seriously, they're probably in the food chain somewhere... Some bird probably eats them or something.

I had thought the same thing about mosquitoes. I thought they were just here to bug people and spread disease, but it turns out they do have a purpose. Bats can eat up to 1000 a day! So Roaches are probably food for some type of animal. Locusts are too, birds eat them.

I know one other purpose for a roach...Fear Factor. :laugh

Roaches help clean up the food and some other forms of debri left behind when we spill things. They are part of the cleaning process of planet Earth.

Mosquitoes are "injectors" and provide a form of shots given to innoculate us. But in the present context, their "medicine" can be dangerous.

Have you ever turned on the lights inside your favorite restaurants' kitchen around 3 in the morning?

Roaches work in the dark to clean up crumbs.

Roaches are fun.

Have you ever worked in a food processing plant?

When I first started working in a french fry plant in 1988 cockroaches were everywhere. Every so often they would close the plant and fumigate it over a weekend. When we came back on monday there would still be cockroahes, a few less for a while.

About ten years ago, new poisons became available. We no longer fumigate the plant, and very seldom see a cockroach although there are still a few.

My house became infected. If I went into the kitchen at night and turned on the light it looked like the walls were moving. I tried everything. I tried bug bombs. Dead cockroaches would be laying all over the floor. There were always some that were still alive. Within a week they would be as bad as ever. Finally I found a natural poduct that was not an incecticide. It was a white powder that when it got on a roach it cut through their shell and the roach dehydrated and died. It took several months to get rid of them all.

I asked my dd a few years back why God created flies. She said, because He likes them and you shouldn't ask questions like that. She was five years old at the time:freaked :tape She is quite the little prophet!:lol

Totally works for me. :thumb

And it's biblical too:
God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. (Genesis 1:31a).

My daughter loves bugs... All of them! She is bound and determined to be an entomologist when she grows up and has brought some well... "interesting" things in our home. :fear :lol

What she has said to me is that bugs are one of God's best creations, because if you can see beauty in a roach, or appreciate the awesome life of a honey bee, then how can you not be on your knees in awe when looking at the even greater things God has made.

My daughter wants to use bugs to bring people to Christ. She wants to show people that even the things most people either don't even notice, or run away from show how great God is. :):

I'm personally scared of most bugs, but I think what she is doing is terrific and I support her and try not to be scared of the things in her room. :faint

That's funny! She sounds like my five year old. They have a way of calling you on certain things don't they?
