Lol sorry if I mispelt, but I'm sure you get the message. Anyways, everyone know about this Mary, right. Well short summary, she was an adulterer and the people of Judea, specifically the Pharisees, were going to stone her, but Jesus outwitted them to save her. After that, Mary was faithful and a follower of Jesus. Today some people speculate that Mary and Jesus could have gotten married or had a relationship. However, what if Mary represents the bride of the Lamb [the church lol] (God has had dual motives before, and put things in secret before ie. Kind N...'s dream of the statue; the king taht had a dream of a statue and Daniel interpreted his dream). What if Mary didn't even exist and it was put there SOLELY to give us an idea of Jesus' attitude towards the bride? Because I think it's possibe, because first Mary commits sin, and is going to die because of it (just like we would die from our sin), next Jesus stops the force that was to kill Mary (Jesus died on the cross to prevent sin from killing us), then Mary repents and is faithful/a servant of Jesus (servant in the sense like we are His servants; we do His will). Then Jesus dies, and Mary cries and is sorrowful (we miss Jesus, we don't necessarily cry, because we know He was, is and aways will be alive, and will come for us), after that Jesus is ressurected and who does He show Himself to first...Mary lol and then eventually shows Himself to everyone else (we are able to see Christ, while unbelievers are blinded, and we will be the first seeing Him when Hee returns, since we will be raptured and then He comes at the end of Trib, when everyone else sees Him). The end lol
Thoughts?

I don't by it WLNF for one reason, I believe the Bible is the infallable word of God and God doesn't lie. Aside from that, she's spoken of too many times in the NT to be an "idea". Just my humble opinion.

actually, the bible does not say she was the adultress Jesus saved. All it says about her was that he'd cast 7 demons I believe it is out of her.
And the rest cannot be right either because the Bible doesn't say that either.

I agree with roadrunner... it never says that Mary Magedeline is the adultress. The first mention of her is in Luke 8:2 and it states that 7 demons came out of her... never does it state that she was an adultress. I think that she was a real woman and that the bible should be taken literally where ever possible. I just don't find any scriptural evidence to support this theory...

Really. I always thought she was an adultress...even in Jesus of Nazareth (the movie) she was depicted as an adultress.

Church tradition has sort of "grafted" her name onto the woman caught in adultery, but scripture does not indicate that at all. Tradition has also said she was the prostitute washing Jesus' feet, but once again, the bible doesn't say that.
I mean, sure she coudl have been. Could have been Mary Magdalene, could have been Mary McGillicuddy, the Bible doesn't say.
