You are gonna have to be a little more specific.

Truth in how do we prove the sum of 2 + 2 is equal to 4.

Or the

Truth in how do we know the Bible is Gods Word.

or the

Truth in how do we know God exists.

Truth is found in God the Son, Jesus! He is the way, the TRUTH, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him, Jesus. John 14 vs 6 (my paraphrase)

The more we grow in Christ, the more we walk in the Spirit, the closer we grow to the Father the more we see the Truth.

If you want to know how long something is you use a ruler. But how do you know if the ruler is correct? You have to check it against a standard. The standard of truth is the word of God.

Hbr 4:12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Hbr 4:13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

We need to test everything against the word of God. Man's truth is at best a partial truth. We have been taught that 2+2=4. But, that is not always true. In the base 3 numbering system 2+2=11.
