I didn't know where to post this. If this is in the wrong place, please move.

My campus ministry is interested in doing activities or such that would serve to minister to the Jewish population on campus, work on building a positive relationship with them, showing them support, and eventually starting to open up an avenue where they could feel free to sit in if they were interested and curious.

Some ideas were charity drives in support of Israel and her people, or workshops and such on Davidic dance and worship. But we're looking for any advice and ideas on this as this has not been previously done on campus. Anything at all would be appreciated.

Thanks very much! :hug

Almost 50 views and nobody has ANYTHING to say on this?? Y'all are some bright creative people who can surely help some :nod

Good idea/bad idea in general? Anything in particular we should definitely/definitely not do?

We're probably going to meet in two weeks to discuss this.

Just an idea but why don't you try contacting a missions organization that works with Jewish groups? Friends of Israel or Jews for Jesus are but a couple. I have taken this to prayer for you too.
His ways are always better anyway.

I think this will be difficult. Many Jews are really secular. They don't really identify strongly with their heritage or with Israel. I recommend you simply go up to the students two by two and talk to them. They are all individuals without needing a professional "support" group. Just make it a quiet time of witnessing and the Lord will give you wisdom person by person what to say.
