1. Not sure Where to put this thread..here..or in the Rapture Doctrine section..Mods..please move if this isn't the right place.
2. This thread is meant for a discussion on what happens after the rapture with the newly born Children..so if one does not believe that all small children will be raptured..this is not the thread for you.
Now that these two concerns are off my mind..on with the discussion..
Ever wonder what will happen after the rapture and all small children are taken?..Will people have many children or few or none?...
After said children are born..will daycares automatically open and go back into business?..Will mothers, who lost thier children in the rapture, refuse to send them?..will the government force people to send thier children to daycare?..will permissiveness towards children reach a level never heard of..(if that's even possible)..If you work in daycare you know what I mean..will children be considered little gods who can do no wrong?..all this is sin..or will it go to the other extreme and will abuse towards children be worse than ever before..which is also sin..or will both extremes be the rule of the day..
This has been on my mind lately and I have no one to discuss the thought with..so here I am..at the library, posting on the board..here's hoping these thoughts start a discussion that lasts a while..as I am starving for some feedback..looking forward to what you guys have to say..see ya next Wednesday..:D:

Hi Katt!
I'm sure you realize that most answers anyone makes to your questions will be PURELY conjecture and opinion.
The only one I can answer for sure is: Will women have children after the rapture. Yes, I'm pretty sure that the Scriptures indicate that there will be children born in the Tribulation period. Jesus said that, in those days (when the AoD occurs), that people in Judea should flee immediately to the hills (not even stopping to grab a cloak if they're outside the house) and to pray that this does not happen on a Sabbath day and that you do not have a nursing infant or small child when it happens. There are other Scriptures which refer to this as well, but that's the one I remember the best. hehe It's part of the Olivet Discourse, I believe.
As for the conjecture about whether people will have many children or few... I'm not certain. I'm sure there will be a huge rise in sexual activities after the rapture, so there COULD be a great deal more children born... or there COULD just be a huge rise in abortions... either for convenient's sake, or because there's a big political broo-ha-ha about "overpopulation" (that might even be one of the explanations about the "missing people all over the world")... or both.
As for daycares, there's 7 years in the Trib period... definitely time for more people to need daycare--especially since we know the whole deal about a day's pay only being enough to pay for food for that day... people are probably going to have to have more than one job (if you're one of the people who feel Good called you to stock up for those who weren't raptured, you might want to include infant formula and bottles, baby food, diapers, etc... in your plans). So, educated guess here that there will be child care options needed. Maybe those kids who were above the age of consent (whatever that may be, my personal opinion is that it MIGHT be 13, as that was the Jewish ideal of when adulthood began... definitely something I'm not definite or dogmatic about, though. hehe) will make a fortune in babysitting.
I think that permissiveness in the WHOLE population will sky-rocket, so I'm sure the kids will be given free reign to go nuts as well... especially considering ... what's it called... that international law about children... I read a very informative article on it recently (scared the you-know-what out of me!!), but I can't remember what it's called. AND, I'm sure child/spouse/parent abuse will be astronomical as well. From what I see in Scripture, people will become unprecedentally self-absorbed during the Trib period and much of this will probably come out in being abusive to others (we can see it rolling out of control already).

Hi Abbas Child!!!..
Thank you so much for your input..I work in daycare and the subject has been rolling around in my head for a while now..the children now are let do anything they please and I felt sorry for whoever runs daycare during that time..
This brings on another thought..it will be five years before schools will be able to accept kindergardners..
The schools will finally get the small classes they've been wanting. at least for a while..many elementary schools will be empty..I believe the folks recieving the MOB will see this as a blessing and start filling them up right away with students from overcrowded high schools..
Can you imagine the impact of having no one come to school the day after the rapture?..wow!!!

Hi Katt,
I’ve read this thread a week ago and after a week of thinking about it and reflecting on it I now have some time to reply. First of all I must admit that I had never considered what would happen to the children born during the tribulation period. Being a Christian I have a hard time imagining living during that time let alone with a small child. After all that is prophesied in Revelations the thought of being of the care of an infant makes it seem all that much more scarier. I can see how your working in daycare caring for the welfare of children has you concerned. The only advice I can offer is Jesus’ words: “Let your heart not be troubled.” Jesus LOVES the little children. Any earthly things that the evil during the Tribulation inflicts upon the little ones will be avenged upon the evil doers. Heaven awaits the innocent children. Take comfort in scripture.

Hi Azariah;
A thought has come to me..the children born in the trib will be less than seven years old at the second coming..the oldest being only six years and a few months old..with children being so much more suffisticated at younger ages than ever before (as they are now)..I wonder how much more grown up they will be at that time..or will folks decide to keep them young longer and not expose them to so much technology at they formerly had been exposed to..we've always discussed what will happen to government, technology, lifestyles and the law after the rapture..but has anyone ever thought about what the rapture will do to the physche (sp) of the folks left behind?

All the Bible has to say about the 'psyche' of the people left behind is that most of them will experience the judgements and curse God... so we know that they'll understand that God IS real, but instead of turning to Him, they will curse Him. You know, for the past 2,000+ years, God's been the Mr. Nice God with lots of grace, mercy, etc... but, in the Tribulation period, it's like He's saying, "I gave you 2,000+ years of grace, peace, mercy and love and you didn't turn to me because I wasn't VISIBLE enough for you... so here's 7 years of a VERRRRRY visible and highly perturbed God for ya." The GOOD NEWS is that there will be so many people who turn to God during the Tribulation that the number couldn't be counted back then... even though 200,000,000 was able to be counted. SO considerably MORE than 200,000,000 people will be saved during the Trib. There's about 10 people on my list (whom I've witnessed to, or at least TRIED) whom I hope are among the first.

Hi Again Katt,
Matthew 19:14Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such.”
I will get back to you soon. I have been searching verses for something that I have been thinking about but can not find the exact verse.
Something to think about. During the Trib: Earthquakes, famine, pestilence, etc. I was also thinking about the cost of one days wages for a meal. Could it be that only the wealthy could afford child care?
During the trib I was wondering if the last thing a mother would concern herself for her young child with is sending her child to child care. Would life not be a struggle enough to provide only a meal?
I was thinking that the child care profession would become as obsolete as an elevator operator. I’m sorry if this sounds harsh. I realize that child care is your passion, but with everything that is prophesied to happen during the Trib I would think that survival for those left behind would be the number one concern.
As far as the technology issue you mentioned is concerned, I do not think that technology will even be an issue. What technology will there be without the electricity to power it?
Hard times indeed for those left behind. I truly pray for those with young children to come to Jesus and find their faith before The Great Day of Our LORD.

Child care my passion?...:lol..not really..I do love children..but the government is so involved in the business that it makes the stress factor go through the roof..this is why I mentioned the government forcing folks to send thier children to daycare..a lot of money is to be lost to the government if childcare becomes obsolete..although that wouldn't be the worst thing to happen then..or now for that matter..
You did mention one thing that I never thought of..only the wealthy could afford daycare..maybe only the wealthy will be able to have children at all..they're not the ones that will be affected by the economics of the day..because they will have taken the MOB..those that refuse said mark will be the ones to be affected by the economic system..if they have children at all..prenatal care and getting food for the pregnant women so they don't miscarry and will have healthy children will be the most important thought on the minds of the folks that care.

I think that there will be too much turmoil in the world to be concerned with daycare. I also think that the gov't will force parents to have their children receive the MOB.

Since when has wealth had anything to to with child bearing? Why would that chance during the Trib?

It's possible that forced abortions will become the rule, as it is in China, for people... either it'll be only 1 child per family, or maybe only a certain income + bearing the mark will be allowed by the gov't. to have children. After all, there's a "Population problem" in the world and we wouldn't want children born who would be "deprived" by parents who couldn't afford to give them THE BEST (or unable to because they have no mark and have not worshipped the beast, etc...).

Possibly from Gov't policies such as China has... where only one child is allowed per family, after that anyone who gets pregnant is forced to have an abortion.
