I have a very close friend who is RC.
I'm sure she has the best intentions, but...
she emailed a Blessed Mother prayer to me.
I deleted it, but should I ask her nicely not to send these anymore because I consider Marion worship as idolatry?
Or should I delete & remain quiet?

Pray about it and ask the Lord for insight into how to respond to her. :):

I agree that you should pray about it first and then wait and see if she sends you another one or asks you about this one before you give her the facts about such prayers. I have many RC family and friends and know first hand how senstive they can be when given the Truth .

Or use it as an opportunity to witness to her, "I know you meant the best for me, but I don't need Mary praying to Jesus for my well being because I have a personal relationship with Jesus, and there is only one mediator between man and God, the man Christ Jesus"......etc.

You could say "thank you so much for thinking of me, but I am unable to pray to anyone other than Jesus." If she askes why then you have a great oportunity to share! Have scripture ready!
May want to review the verse about fruits of the Spirit beforehand! ;):
Meaning...when I have witnessed to my RC family I always feel I am the one put to the test! I usually end up reciting the list to myself. :B: :):

no reason to keep it a secret as to how you feel. that causes confusion,
you've got some good advice on how to talk to her.
her intentions were probably good for you! but you knew it was'nt right.
