What is it?
Firstly I thought we were all to be given white robes in heaven. But upon looking it up it looks as though the martyrs are the ones given white robes.
Either way, I'm not after a robe but being in His presents.

Revelation 6:9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10They called out in a loud voice, "How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?" 11Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and brothers who were to be killed as they had been was completed.

Revelation 7:9 After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.

Revelation 7:13 Then one of the elders asked me, "These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?" 14I answered, "Sir, you know." And he said, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Whether or not we are martyred, are we not also washed in His blood and made clean in His sight?

I agree, but my point was if we are getting our fine white linens then we are in his presence and yes that is what I am anxious for also.

Funny I had a dream about this!

I was sitting at a table talking to my unsaved boss, I had on fine white linen
gown, but it was burnt all around the bottom, and covered in smoke. It makes me feel sad to just think about that. I hope I am not all smoky in Heaven! :(: My boss had on regular clothes. No smoke on him. :freaked

Don't know for sure, but maybe the fire was from removing the dross to reveal pure gold. The good thing is you were wearing the wedding clothes.:wave

Yes that does make sense, and thats the feeling I got from the dream, I have to tell you though, it was very humbling. I believe the Lord was trying to show me my prideful self.

It is a great picture ,I can't wait, even if I am a little burnt and smokey........:nod
