Anyone have any experiance with this?
I had the opportunity to speak with a Jewish man today, we chatted a bit about the election and such. He asked if I was Jewish I said no, a born again Christian.
An opportunity to witness could of been there, but I realized, even though I have been saved for 17 years, that I have no clue how to witness to a Jew. It seems difficult. Plus I was not really sure how a Male Jew would feel about a female Christian sharing her faith. He was wearing the skull cap and all, so I knew he was more then likely not just a Jew in word.
Anyone have stories they would like to share?
Thanks

In some of the online conversations I have had, there is quite a bit of difference in their interpretations of scripture, and ours.
For instance, one told me that blood was never to be shed for sin, and was unnecessary (basically in response to the fact that there could be no more sacrifices for sin since there was no more temple etc, and so how was his sin dealt with as a Jew?) and he was quite adamant about that. I don't recall very well, but I think he was of the belief that a son of Abraham was in, no matter what? Whatever it was, it seemed kind of strange to me, and at the time I was way too ill equipped to deal with it. That was a long time ago though, I have had no other recent encounters with anyone of the Jewish faith.
I would recommend some preparation if you intend to witness to him, or perhaps just question him about his faith, and see if that leads you to some relevent points that you can make?
[edit to add]Many of them see Paul the apostle as a nut.

I had no idea that they thought Paul was nut. Where is this coming from?
Do you have any recommendations on books I could read?
Thanks!:):

Modern-day Jews view Paul's letters to the churches as being anti-Jewish and anti-Semitic, one of the reasons being is because his letters are interpreted by some to suggest that Paul doesn't believe Jewish law (the Old Covenant) to be in effect anymore.

Have you tried the Way of the master yet?
Here's a clip from the evidence bible as well...
"How should I witness to a Jew?"
Sadly, many of today’s Jews profess godliness but don’t embrace the Scriptures as we presume they do. Therefore, it is often difficult to reason with them about Jesus being the Messiah. This is why it is imperative to ask a Jew if he has kept the Law of Moses—to "shut" him up under the Law (Galatians 3:23) and strip him of his self- righteousness. The Law will show him his need of a Savior and become a "schoolmaster" to bring him to Christ (Galatians 3:24), as happened to Paul, Nicodemus, and Nathaniel. It was the Law that brought 3,000 Jews to the foot of the cross on the Day of Pentecost. Without it they would not have known that they had sinned (Romans 7:7), and therefore would not have seen their need of the Savior.
Dan~~~>has used the law when witnessing to a few..and they understood that

Visit Ariel.org and click on the online catalog at the bottom of the page. Here you will find any and everything you need to know.
You can also get Footsteps of the Messiah on this website. That is the motherload of prophecy interpretation by a Messianic Jew. By far the best prophecy book I have ever read. It is over 800 pages but I can honestly say that I have learned more from that prophecy book than any other source.
