A "Breath" - serious question here

Before you all start rolling your eyes at me.... I have a very serious question about something that happens to me often and I was curious if anyone out there has ever experienced this too.

Many time ( few time a week at least), and usually when I'm laying or sitting really still praying to God. I get what I call a breath of air. It comes out from my lungs without me exhaling. The best way I can describe it is a really quick exhale that I'm not controlling. As if someone pushed on my lungs for the air to come out of my mouth in a quick burst.

This almost always happens when I wake up from a dream (usually a disturbing dream) or have a disturbing thought or anytime I start rebuking evil spirits in Jesus' name.

If you are waking up from a dream, maybe you aren't aware of what is going on. Are you, or have you been, involved in the occult? I ask this only because you mention disturbing dreams, disturbing thoughts and rebuking demons. What is going on in your life that you are troubled by demons on such a frequent basis? Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you are asking, so you may need to clarify.

Most importantly--have you spoken to your pastor about this? If not, that should be your first step.

My specific question is if anyone has ever experienced this breath I'm refering to.

The dreams I have are vary in nature. Personally I think it's a scare tatic from satan and his angels. Sometimes they are dreams about bad things happening to my loved ones. When I awake from the dream and my heart is heavy because of these sad dreams.... I rebuke them and that is when the "breath" happens. So the breath happens when I'm awake.

I'm not positive but spiritually, myself and many others have been fighting for my husbands salvation and he is close.... VERY close to accepting Christ. I'm not sure if that is why I have been under attack.

And no, I have no ties with the occult. We did séances (sp?) when I was a kid and dabbled in levitation not knowing any better but have long rebuked that or any hold to that over my life as well as generational curses.

Oh, and the clarification on the thoughts... has to do with say for instance... I get jealous about something (usually something stupid) and I rebuke the spirit of jealousy.

I have never had any sort of experience like that. Praise God that He is working in your husband's life!

If I were in your situation, I would absolutely call my pastor and talk with him about it.
