Okay I know a group of people who has accepted this man as thier bible teacher. They gave him athority over them.

The Guy teaches the trinity correctly, But I have issuses about the other stuff he teaches.

there are a few but I'll just name the one that bothers me the most for now, and I'll address the other issues later.

1. He claims that he's infallible.
2. despite this claim he is known for being inconsistent.

His followers are blind to this.

Please respond with what you think are red flag warnings to keep away from teachers.

I'll further respond later.

Yeah I know, but I was asking about other things that you might think are red flag warnings.

But do you need any other things? If someone is making that one clam alone.. that is the only red flag I need. For me anyway.. that one alone would be a done deal exit or confrontation on the issue.

If he refuses to be answerable to anyone in authority above him, I'd avoid him like the plague. If he has strange doctrinal interpetations, and doesn't back anything up with the scripture and more scriptures to see for yourself. One verse doesn't make a doctrine.

Also, if your gut tells you something is wrong, and continues to after some time and prayer over the matter...I'd move on.

Some signs (take your picks) that your teacher is not good:

1. Rarely mentions Jesus by name during sessions or in private
2. Teacher/Leader considers teaching to be "pure" or followers do
3. Cannot have a session without mentioning money in some way
4. Is noticably more popular with one gender in assembly than the other
5. Lives an affluent lifestyle and is defensive when challenged about it
6. Never mentions sin or hell in teaching
7. Is not honest in small matters, especially financial
8. Openly attacks those who disagree with his teachings/lifestyle
9. Never publicly confesses own sinfulness
10. Lacks compassion toward unsaved or rarely mentions their plight

Trinitarian theology usually tends to be a big one. Any anyone (other than Christ, of course) who claims to be infallible should send up a huge flag. And, listen to me, since I am never wrong! (just kidding)

The edited version of this quote is what this teacher stands for more or less.

Well, I wasn't too far off, unfortunately. If I were you and had friends in that church, I would show them the list and see how they react to it. If nothing else, you may help warn them about what is wrong.
