Have you ever heard of this?? My friend's boyfriend said that "you are not supposed to study the bible in church on Sunday, you are only supposed to praise God". :twitch :wacko :fear :cry He made it sound like studying the bible is wrong. He does not seem to have a problem with premarital relations. I so have to put :tape because I love my friend. God will show her the truth. :nod
Just wondering if anyone else had ever heard this nonsense. I guess then that no one brings a bible to this church on Sunday.:confused btw, he is involved in one of the mega-churches in my area...very seeker friendly. He is doing other things that I am very upset about. I really don't want to talk about it here. I really don't care what this guy does, except that one of the things my friend told me today is going to hurt her if she does it. Please pray for my friend. She is at a big turning point in her life and having to step out in faith.
