ok, im not trying to judge anyone but here in alaska, either a person has a nice vehicle or it's a trasher. It's not like CA where everyone seems to be working and making good enough money to have themselves a nice car or truck. You drive around here in AK and see some of the apt places and most all the vehicles are either old, banged up or rusted out junkers and there are a few nice one's. A common problem is pot and one just needs to look in most parking lot's of these places and most look like a wreaking yard. Today, I drove up for the 2nd time to see this place and the lanlord of this condo is willing to reduce the rent by 65.00 just to get it rented through the winter but as I walked up to the place I noticed the parking area's are just littered with crap all over the place and I just didn't want any part of it.

I'm hoping and believing God for a place in the woods for me and my dog and right now, I'm settling for a place I rather not be in. Just wondering if my desires are what God wants and eventually end up getting his best in time? I mean, I get very depressed just looking at the parking lot. Anyone care to comment.

God never promised that we would have monetary blessing in this life. Christ Himself didn't have wealth (despite what some "prosperity gospel" preachers would like us to believe). God promises to give us the desires of our heart, but that is contingent on us seeking Him as our ultimate goal. When we do that, when our priorities are in the order God wants them, then where we live will no longer become the desire of our heart. Instead, God Himself is the desire of our heart.

I don't know all the reasons God provides lots of money to some of His children, and little financial wealth to others. I know some of them, but certainly not all. However, I trust that God works all to the good of those that love Him :nod

if you WOuld like perpective here is one for ya

The person is will to reduce the rent $65 a month to get the appartments full for the winter This is a big benifit to him .

Take one of the appartments save the $65 a month BUy one of the people who live in the building a new car This is a benifit to you since "The crap in the parking lot "bothers you so much ...

if you do this often enough maybe before the Lord comes and take us away you can have all of AK in new SHiny cars :)

Now there is a Fine Goal for a young person who" Doesn't want to judge anyone BUT "

The best course of action is get prepared for the rapture which I believe will occur before the end of the year.If you don't think you'll make the cut for that, then it's essential that you start asking God what He wants you do to serve Him and then ask Him to find a good and safe place for you to live while you are serving Him.During the Tribulation it will be important for the Christians remaining to band together into a community to protect themselves from persecution and to obtain necessary materials including even food once it becomes necessary to have the mark of the beast to purchase anything.Accordingly, after the rapture, the outward appearance of apartment buildings should not be considered, the only relevant factor should be the religious affiliation of the residents.By talking to some ministers in large churches, you can get the names of some apartment buildings where a number of their church members live.

If so, please see our rules, specifically:No Arguing End-Times Positions Outside of the Rapture Discussion Forum - This is a pre-trib message board. While we invite people of all prophetic interpretations to post here, those who wish to discuss a position other than pre-trib are to post only in Rapture Discussion forum, which was opened specifically for that purpose.
