View Full Version : How does God keep track of all of us?

I was wondering how God keeps track of all of us? I mean there's over 6 billion people on earth not to mention all the ones who have already died in the past.
How does He know all our names?
How does He know when I do something bad?
Maybe our brains are a mini computer or a mini camera that he can access at any time?
I have a hard time keeping track of my 3 kids. How does He know just what I need?
How does He love all of us? Over 6 billion people is A LOT of people.

It's a little beyond our comprehension, but we just have to have faith in God's assurances that he knows every hair on our head, and every bird which falls from a tree.
I think that in God's omnipotence, He's unlimited in His ability to "multitask". He can literally concentrate on a billion things simultaneously, giving each of them his utter attention.
Furthermore, He has a perfect memory and never forgets or confuses the facts. When you consider His ability to know everything and never be confused by misinformation or lies, you have one pretty smart cookie.
Again, it's mostly beyond our comprehension, but we know these things to be true.

It's WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY beyond my comprehension. :B: I get a headache just trying to do my bills. I can't imagine the migraine I'd get if I had to control the universe! We'd be in some serious hurt in I was in charge. I don't think I'd make it 5 seconds before I let a meteorite crash in to the Earth. :doh

What Medic said. :nod
Some verses to think about:
Jeremiah 32:
27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Isaiah 40:
13 Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him?
14 With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and showed to him the way of understanding?
Romans 11:
33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
1 Corinthians 2:
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?

Not only does God keep track of every person in creation but also every atom in existance is under His control. What a truly awesome God!!
I have read some books by Hugh Ross,PhD who is christian . I dont understand most of his books, but once in a while I get a glimpse of what he is talking about.
When he talks about there being multiple dimensions and how possibly God may employ those dimensions it is a tiny bit easier to see.

I always understood He used a book.
Actually several of them.
There was a book of rememberance.
The book of life.
There is a book of generations.
Memorials, curses... etc.
There were a few books over the ages.
A few seem to be important. :):

Not only does He keep track of all of us, but He also has every hair on our heads numbered. Chew on that one for a bit, then go take some Excedrin!

I'm sure the real truth is that we're just not all as complicated as we seem to think we are -- I mean, relatively.
