From the artical:
1980s pop-culture icon Mr. T (Rocky III, The A Team) was so touched by the plight of the victims of Hurricane Katrina that he has forever cast away the gold chains he so famously wore around his neck for more than two decades.
The new Mr. T, who has been donating clothes and money to Katrina victims, will be seen this fall in a new reality series airing on TV Land, called I Pity the Fool, which will find the devout Christian assisting those in need.....

That is so COOOOL!! I always liked Mr. T. I didn't know he was a christian though. Praise God! Just goes to prove that even "big, bad" men can and do turn to Christ. Go T!

YES!!!! I've always loved Mr. T.... not so much for the A-Team (which I absolutely loved!) as I was only about 7 when it was on heheheh.... but mainly for interviews I've seen him do over the past few years. I could easily see that he was a man of integrity, and morals... and it seemed almost like he distanced himself from the sleazy side of Hollywood. Now I know why!!

Just a side note.. anyone see the sketch he did on the Conan O'Brien show where the two of them went apple picking?

It's my understanding that he had cancer and it was cured miraculously, and as a result he is a born again Christian now. Hope I got that right. I loved him in The A Team.

I knew that Mr. T. claimed to be a christian but was disappointed when I saw him make a cameo appearance in that filthy teen flick " American Pie". It's not the type of thing that one would see a christian participate in.
