They can knock out a tank at 900 meters, but you need a steady posture and a lot of nerve to track the tank for that long.

A Dragon is also the military name for an anti-tank weapon, I believe its either bipod or shoulder mounted, maybe both. Its been awhile since I saw one.

I used to be a Dragon gunner.....thing was slower than molasses in winter. We didn't look forward to going to the first Iraq war since a good tank crew could get off a shot and not have to be accurate to get ya before the missle would even get to the target. That's assuming that one of the guide wires didn't break first (happened all the time). The grunts now use a fire and forget missle (Javelin I think)....much better.

Chuckmissler.com has a teaching suggesting that behemoth and leviathan in Job fit no living animal. Thus, the young earth idea and the speculation that dragons or dinosaurs were around at the time the bible was written. One principle Chuck speaks of is that the biggest mistakes he makes in interpreting scripture are those in which he does not take the text literally enough. Thus, the view of Job, that we are not dealing with fictional animals. If you are a member of Koinoniahouse, you can get the archived teaching. Good studies.

No... it just that being polish myself... ive been brought up with stories of dragons... the story Krak and the dragon, who's story founded the old polish capital of Krakow....which itself has played major significance in european history over the past 1000 years...
were looking at a time not far removed from ours.

The English story of St George... who slayed a dragon....
then there's all the chinese mythology about dragons.....
any significance? They surely must be based on something.

Interesting note in the chinese article about the sightings of Dragons in times and the transition of dynasties on earth....
They sound a bit dodgy anyway....

Have a great day all,
Be blessed

Here is the so called dragon.
Doesn't look like much of anything does it?

Its a photographic error like a sunspot that sometimes happens to pictures.
New agers love these errors, and they claim they are angels.

The fact is, this is perfectly normal and happens to both film and digital cameras. It has something to do with the way a glass lens catches light.

Like I said: HOAX.

What I am curious about is it sinnful to have them around. I see glass and stone statues of Dragons all the time and think they look pretty cool. But do you think its not a good idea to have around? I have no evil intentions of it, just that its looks cool.

Would God use a non-existing creature to describe something?

That's what happens when a missile goes off course and they blow it up before it lands, in oh say, Los Angeles. I live in CA, and every so often Vandenburg AFB has to blow up a missile, and the smoke and fuel makes a very pretty looking cloud in the sky, especially at sunset. Looks just like the picture too.
