Did anyone see this commercial? I just saw it today...
It starts by showing a few couples after their date... The boys are leaving the girls at the doorstep of their houses and all the boys are left there without a kiss goodnight and perplexed as to what they did wrong.
Well, the next thing, you see this Harley bike parked on the driveway with a piece of female clothing hanging on one of the bike handles... You hear giggling inside the house and lights being turned off...:rolleyes
Get the picture? Then the announcer says: "It's different with a Harley." or something like that...
UGH! How more direct can they be with these commercials? Buy a bike now and your dates will end to a more intimate outcome? :faint

I saw it the other night the minute I turned the television on w/ my 5 yo. It's gotten to the point that shows & commercials on aren't fit to watch at all. We don't even have cable.

I haven't seen that one but I have seen quite a few commercials lately that are just horrid!
I saw a commercial for Orbitz on Bravo. It was all about how Orbitz will help you find gay friendly places. UGH!

That is just one reason I don't watch television anymore and I haven't for quite some time. It is usually garbage, just worldly stuff.<><

We have the channel Showcase and on Friday nights around 10 pm there is a show called Sin Cities (or something like that) with this guy who travels around the world and features all kinds of perverted shops/bars, organizations, fads etc. What is shown on that channel is very explicit and sometimes while you are flipping channels you catch a piece of it and it is so shocking that sometimes I find myself stopping there for a few minutes watching in disbelief. Then the images stick to my mind for days afterward.:redface

Heh. What were you watching? My wife and I joke about that a lot. Advertisers buy ad space for products that they think the veiwers will be most interested in. So during Sat. morning cartoons, you see a lot of toys and kids cereals. During shows with predominantly African Americans, you will see more African American actors in the commercials. Football has a lot of truck ads and viagra. Daytime soaps have a lot of cleaning supplies, and the cereals (but the daytime ads focus on the healthyness of the cereals, the ads during cartoons focus on how "fun" the cereals are.
So, if you're seeing a lot of ads aimed at gays, rest assured that you are watching a show popular with gays. :B:

The Harley commercial is usually on during the Nascar races. I know complaints have been forwarded to Nascar.
