I wonder if ALPHA or PDC programs cover topics to do with Bible Prophecy i.e Isreal as part of God's prophetic timeclock.
Some may say that these topics may be too heavy for non christians that we should feed them on milk but with recent world events unfolding I think Bible Prophecy is a great springboard to evangelism and understanding the times .
When our dear brother Barry Smith was alive he would use Bible Prophesy to lead people to Christ I have freinds who have come to the Lord at a Barry Smith meeting.
What are your thoughts on this?

I cannot give an opinion on ALPHA since I've never been in a church that used it, nor have I been to a meeting.
However, I can give an opinion on the PDC. In six and a half years at my previous PD church there was one glossed-over, highly sugar-coated sermon on the rapture, and zero messages on the end times and prophecy. Most of the messages were about how much God loves you and that He will give you a good life if you "make a decision for Christ." :tsk
I doubt that many PDC churches go any further than that either. Their goal is to bring in the numbers and be worldly relevant.

It would probably depend on the church and even further on the pastor. I would doubt that Alpha has anything built into the program like this, though it could conceivably be added.

The Catholic church never covers revelations, or the rapture either...

Alpha was developed in Britain by a church affiliated with the Church of England (Anglican/Episcopal). With this background I would doubt whether will even talk about Bible prophecy as British churches has not been big on premillennial (of which the rapture is the pre-trib subvariety) views of Bible prophecy since 1960.
Everyone I know from Britain who are pre-trib are from house churches or independent unaffiliated Baptist or new charismatic churches

The Catholic church never covers revelations, or the rapture either...Sure they do. They just don't do it on Sunday from the dais.
The Catholic Church does not believe in a "rapture" and for the most part fictionalizes the Book of Revelation. Go back and ask them directly. They have a wonderful resource on line called the "New Advent" which is an on line encyclopedia.

Fill in the slot and search on the words "Rapture" etc.
They will tell you exactly what to believe.

I would think not. Alpha is designed as a very basic introduction to Christianity.
Who Jesus is, what He did and why, the concept of the trinity, that sort of thing. Very, very basic. Prophesy and the Rapture etc would probably be way too much to toss at a brand new believer, or someone trying to figure out what Christianity is all about.
In addition, as their website states, Alpha is very generic. If the church presenting it doesn't allow for pre-trib beliefs, for example, it wouldn't be incorporated into the program.

Alpha leaders are not allowed to deviate from the Alpha instruction booklet, which brushes over the end-time events described in Revelations. The reason is Revelations is considered by some too controversial for the sponsors of Alpha.
