What do you think the bible is talking about when it says effeminate in 1 Cor 6:9
Here is what I found in the Lexicon:

2) metaph. in a bad sense
a) effeminate
1) of a catamite: (websters) : a boy kept by a pederast
2) of a boy kept for homosexual relations with a man
3) of a male who submits his body to unnatural lewdness
4) of a male prostitute
It seems like it could mean a lot of things. The reason I have this questions is one of my roommates has recently admitted to me that he is a sodomite. The thing is is that he acts like how I have seen past girlfriends act when I seem to be insensitive. This got me thinking that because he is a sodomite he is turning into woman as far as behavior.
For instance tonight I was cooking chicken and forgot to turn the vent on. It was then smelling up the whole house with chicken but I wasn't paying much attention. I eventually did turn the vent on when I realized I had forgotten. Later on tonight he said real serious like that he was pissed off for me smelling up the house and that I was insensitive to the other roommates. I then told him I was sorry but to be careful what measure you use to judge because you should expect the same measure of judgement to be returned back to you. I then told him he can be annoying and insensitive too. He was blown away by this as if that was impossible. He asked me when he is insensitive like it was news to him. I told him we are all moving out of this place in 1 more day and he was being insensitive to act this way considering we are all basically parting ways very soon. It is kind of a trivial thing to get upset over considering we should enjoy each others friendship the last couple days. He didn't have anything to say after that.
