“Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips far from you.” (Proverbs 4:24)
“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.” (Exodus 20:7)
Put On Wholesome Speech
“A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, but the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness. A wholesome tongue is a tree of life.” (Proverbs 15:1,4)
