Dear All,
First, apologies to everyone who may have covered the topic before. Now I haven't read his book. All I've heard from him is from the Bible Answer Man program, and Hank seemed to endorse him. We know that Hank is no friend to Robert Schuller or any Word of Faith type theology. Also, I'm not trying to bait or argue, because I couldn't defend him anyway. What I want to see is your problems with his teachings... and show me the scripture that shows where he is mistaken. Thanks guys.

Many don't like some of his methods and/or style. But he's thoroughly orthodox in his doctrine. Check out Saddleback's doctrinal statements they are in line with historic/orthodox Christianity

I haven't read it ... one general word of advice ...

Don't let it replace the Bible. God's revealed word is the Bible - not the Purpose Driven Life. If you have a Bible study and everyone is reading Warren's book or anyone else's book, that's fine, but make sure that you remember that the Bible is far and away more important.

Always check anything Warren or anyone else says against scripture. If he quotes a verse and you don't know the context, go to the Bible to read the context.
