The Name above every other Name missing - again!

I only heard two of the four benedictions at the RNC.

Neither time, after the prayer, was the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, spoken.

We are told in the bible to pray in His name - by Him!!!!!

Are we blinded to this truth, or is it just blatent disobedience?

I'm very irritated at this obvious omission.

Anyone else have thoughts/opinions?

Franklin Graham wrote a book called "The Name." In it he writes about, among other things, how it is okay for people of the word to use Jesus' name as a curse word on TV, but try to use Jesus' name to glorify God on TV and it's a different story. :mad

How true - I would hope that those who stand as Christians would not ever hesitate to use His wonderful name; however, it appears they do :(:

Interesting, the only ONE I got to listen to by Joni, ended in JESUS name.
