The late Dr. J. Vernon McGee's teaching on the book of Ezekiel will be aired over the next month on his radio show, Through the Bible. He started in chapter one this past Friday and did the introduction.

I have never done a study through the entire book of Ezekiel and look forward to learning lots of new things about prophecy.

If anybody else is interested in hearing this 30 minute program online, go to www.ttb.org and click on Today's Broadcast. (Well, today's broadcast is a Sunday Sermon, but you can hear Friday's show today, or start it tomorrow.) :):

Thanks, Leigh.

I am reading Ezekiel now, about to finish my "read the Bible in a year" challenge (started in October last year). This is my second time to read it (my second challenge!), and I'm getting a lot more out of it this time than I did the first time. I think I'll give Dr. McGee a listen!

I highly recommend these read the Bible in a year programs or challenges. Next, I would like to read the Bible chronologically. I'm gonna read it like a novel, just straight through, to finish by the end of the year. And then in January, the whole church will start ANOTHER read the Bible in a year challenge! If you want to learn your Bible, this is the way - repetition. I am already amazed, at just my second time to read through, how much scripture comes to mind when I need it, from all over the Bible. I LOVE God's Word! :clap

I'm on my third trip Thru the Bible with Dr. McGee. I learn something new every time. Ironically, I just finished reading Ezekiel so I am really looking forward to Dr. McGee's commentary.

I hope to join you one day in saying that I have read through my Bible more than once. Currently I am taking on the challenge of reading my Bible in a year. I really wanted to take this challenge as there have been parts I have never cracked open in my Bible. And then I thought, what if I meet Habakkuk in heaven and he asks me what I thought of his book? How was I to answer that if I never read it. :):

:D:

I've never thought about it that way, but that IS good motivation to read every book of the Bible, isn't it?
