I hope I am posting this in the right forum.

Please oh please when using the name of our Lord God use a big "G".

when using a Little "g" that implies a demi god.

So, I hope I got my facts straight here.

Sometimes, I like to spell "the LORD" with all capitals to identify Him as YHWH of the Old Testament. It inspires more reverence on my part, I think.

The capital 'G' indicates a proper name wheras the lower case 'g' would just mean 'one of this type'.

One must also remember, that in some countries, proper nouns (names, places) are not capitalized... such as that for G-d/G-tt -- sometimes, though not always-- and yes, I totally share this pet peeve.

Which is why I always have it G-d unless talking about the gods.
