I was tv surfing tonight and came across a prophecy show wit this man. I never heard of him before, does anybody know anything. Is he a true teacher or a false one. Thanks for all help. ----Gail

Well, all I know about him is that he believes that America is in Bible prophecy. He doesn't believe like most other Bible prophecy teachers that America will be destroyed or reduced in stature during the tribulation.

He believes that the United States is found in the Bible and has an important role to fill. He believes that God has raised up the U.S. to become the nation that is destined to do more damage to the devil's operation here on earth than any other single nation.

He used to be mid trib years ago, he is pre trib now. But he teaches that there will be a massive worldwide revival before the rapture. I think he is WOF.

REALLY GB?? :confused cuz last I heard -- he had gone FROM pre-trib *TO* mid trib.

Boy, I wonder if he is vascillating as much as it sounds like!!

Just my own pers. opinion ~ I don't care for the guy ~ he's too pompous & thinks that *other ppl* who have not been studying prophecy as long as he has ~ should *sit down & shut up* and listen TO HIM!!

Furthermore, he teaches (and writes in his books) that the AC will have dominion ONLY over Europe & the M.E. -- apparently he skimmed over that Scripture in Revelation where the AC will have dominion over the ENTIRE world!! :twitch

Me -- I don't bother getting too excited to hear Sutton is coming to town to speak.

In 1980 something I heard him speak and he was definitely mid trib. And at the 2003 prophecy conference (Tampa - saw on Sky Angel), he was pre trib. He probably IS vacillating
