Of the 7, which church are you?

I was reading in Revelation the other day and trying to figure out which church most described me. I finally decided on a combination of Sardis and Ephesus.

Ephesus because for the most part I'm a patient endurer but I had lost my love for Him and others.


Sardis because I have a reputation for being alive but in God's eyes, using His standard of measure, I'm dead and sin filled.

Ephesus all the way.

Thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Actually, I kinda alternate between Laodicea and Thyatira... probably most of the others as well, though.

Philadelphia is where i'm at as i am continuing to look up as to verses 11 to 13 and His promise that He will keep me safe.

The Lord Yeshua bless and keep you all in His love and promises for He is faithful and True and our ONLY Salvation.

I would love to be able to say Philadelphia however in all honesty I think I am more all the other churches combined. I am a pathetic Christian at best.

Please dear sisters and brothers don't get me wrong the reason i said Philadelphia is not because i deserve it but because of what God has done for me. In that i trust, in that i rest and in that i believe therefore i am looking up.

Since I was the zombie mom of 3 kids under 5 when I slept through this sermon at church, it seems like one of them jumped out at me about working really hard ... maybe it was Ephesus. "I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance ..." which almost made me cry. But I know the flip side was "you have forsaken your first love."
