I hope someone will help me out here!!!

First of all I want to say I saw this film again tonight and I was taken back by the first still shot of the film...it was different from what I saw on opening night.

Each time there was a still shot.

The 'First' time I saw the film, the screen background was a wine/red/orange kind of color and the following words were in white letters about three fourths of the way down the screen: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but through me. "

The 'Second' time (tonight), the screen background was black and the following words were in white letter location was the same: "Isaiah 53:5 he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. " ** (I think this was how it was worded on the screen...I was a bit shocked to see it so different...but I do think this is how it was written.)

My DH didn't notice it until I ask him after we walked out. At first he said I think it was the same, however when I ask him to remember the screen background color he remembed that it was different.

WHAT did you see.........Help

Do you mean before the movie ever started, when it was just a black screen with the Bible scripture on it? We had the scripture from Isaiah 53

Thanks everyone.......

I just remember that the first screen color also had a texture to the background, I'm a little fuzzy but I believe it had darker and lighter areas like marble stone does.

I sure hope someone else saw it too. :jaw

Wonder if they will let hubby and I share the same room...since we both are suffering from the same thing.:pound :pound

Isaiah 53:5.

Perhaps God intended the first message for someone viewing it during the first show.
If He can part the sea and create the universe, He can certainly add a spliced verse into a movie.

(/looks forward to seeing his quote on next month's "Christians say the darndest things"....)

When was the first time you saw the movie? Was it a really early screening of it?

If you saw a really early screening/preview, it might have been changed later for the official release.

I think you saw an earlier version of the film because they were talking about including the "I am the Way" verse but I guess they decided on Isaiah 53. I saw the Isaiah verse.

I've been going over and over it in my mind. I remember thinking to myself when I read the first screen (on opening night). How could any non-believer miss the point, with it written so big right in front of their face. The seats were all filled yet the only person I knew in that large theater was my hubby. I know that reading those words, set the tone for how I saw everything in the film.

God works in wonderful ways so even if no one else saw it (not giving up hope yet) I received a blessing from it.

Also: I don't know if any of you saw my post about the wonderful surprise we had just after the lights were dimmed that
night. A man stood up in back and began to blow the shofar. I had the opportunity to share information with some who didn't know what was happening............hummmmmmmm come to think of it, perhaps there was more going on than I realized.

You know you might have something there. Thank you....maybe that white jacket and rubber room will be delayed, for a day or two anyway.:pound
