Hi All, this theme keeps repeating itself in the Word and I wanted to share a verse from Isaiah that seems to echo Nehemiah in the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem.
It seems like many of us are struggling to bring ourselves out of turbulent pasts, and maybe the spiritual strength (symbolized by the walls of Jerusalem) we once had has been shaken or completely devastated. If so, read through Nehemiah and be encouraged that God is faithful.
Here is the verse I found today:
Isaiah 58:12 "Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings."
