does anyone know what happened to him?

Sandy,after Hal's board he went to another started by a lady who was on the board,i can't remember the name of the web site but she ran it until she had to many hacker's and shut down last March,he left that board because of his mom got really ill.I liked his insigt's Sandy,Lou being a high ranking person in the Army had connections.:thumb :thumb .

Lou hangs out on the Omega Letter forums too. I havent been there in a while, but last time I was, he was still posting away :):

There is one forum open to the public, the rest you have to pay for. But they have a week's free trial.

Look on the left hand side menu, the "commentary forum" is the public one I believe.

He posts as Lou, over there.
