I dont thnk i am a very good christian, today on my way home from school i was on the bus on my own, and then a boy and his girlfreind got on, i heard them talking and then i heard them swearing, and then i heard him saying the most unbelivable things u could hear from a young man age 18? id say, well i was sitting there thinking should i do something because this boy looks like he is about to PUNCH his girlfriend, i froze i didnt know what to do becuase i am like 3 years younger than him, and i didnt want to get put in hospital, well anyways, this guy seemed to just "appear" a few seats in front of me, but the thing is i didnt even see him getting on...?, and the couple wouldnt have noticed becuase they were about to rip each other's throats out, well anyways he was a tall tall guy at least 6'7 tall, well he turned around, to see what was going om, then the boy started to swear at him telling him what are you looking at but utting swear words in there:eek , well i thought they guy wud just turn around like the boy said, BUT the man got up, and i thought oh, oh, this big guy mite go squeeze that boy into a stick, well when he went over there, he said in a soft spoken voice, why do you swear like this, the boy, was still swearing at him but he continued to speak. Fast forward it, he said to the boy about jesus and how he is soon going to return and that we must be ready etc, he was there for a good 5 minutes, well after i heard the boy say thanks an that, and the man got off, as we was getting off he smiled at me, and then he was gone, as the bus pulled off i didnt see him, but what i am trying to say here is i should have said something myself, why woudl god want me inhis presence if i do that?

Looks to me that G-d sent an Angel to keep you safe and show you how you should be!
Count yourself blessed, we are not merited on our good works to be righteous-- HIS righteousness is imparted to us when we confess him and ask forgiveness for our sins.
Remember that even as believers we all have struggles and aren't "Good enough". Even Paul said he wasn't.
Take heart and continue learning and studying the scriptures!

I know you thinks that you didn't do right, but it sounds to me like things went the way they should. I think it is a beautiful story, and I think you should just be praising the Lord for letting you see it.
Did you ever think that maybe the Lord knew if things continued you would say something, and get hurt so He sent an angel to protect you and the girl.
Hang in there, the Lord knows your heart, and He knows you love Him.
Love in Christ,
Kathy

When you believed in Christ you took on the righteousness of God....that is why God wants you in his presence. We all make mistakes. God is very forgiving. Even to the point of letting his son be a sacrifice for us. You've chosen a perfect name 'Child of God'. If you believe on the Son you are a child of God and have taken on the righteousness of God. We all have blown chances to witness or say things to somebody...I can't think of a single person who hasn't missed an opportunity. We can all just ask God for the strength and the conviction to do it next time. :):
As long as you are following Christ don't worry about him not wanting you. He bought you with a price - a high price - he wouldn't trade you for the world...if you continue on with him till the end.
God bless!!!

Perhaps he was......
Hebrews 13:2
Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.
Hebrews 1:14
Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

Also read Proverbs 26:17.
You did the right thing, if God doesn't give you the words to speak in such situations, its best not to say anything.

Child-Of-God, this is the neatest thing I've read about in ages!
A few comments about something you said:
but what i am trying to say here is i should have said something myself, why woudl God want me in His presence if i do that?
It sounds like God sent an angel to take up the battle so you wouldnt get hurt.
Had you approached the boy, you very well could have gotten seriously hurt. But the angel interevened on your behalf, and took up the battle.
I believe you would have gotten hurt, but God interevened, and kept you safe, as well as gave you and the boy a message:
Fast forward it, he said to the boy about Jesus and how he is soon going to return and that we must be ready etc,
So the angel confirmed what so many of us Christians believe, Jesus is coming again very soon. :dancing
Don't feel as though you failed God, on the contrary He sent you a helper. You don't generally send someone to help someone else out unless you love that person and care about their well-being.
Rest easy in the knowledge that God loves you, and Jesus is coming for us soon!

As Ants already said, when we are saved, it is not about or dependent on our righteousness - we received His righteousness. God sees us through Christ.
Related to that, and I realize that this is "semantics," but "trying your hardest" is the wrong thing to do. You will fail. Our position in Christ is based on resting and standing in who we are in Christ, and what he's done for us (already). Rest and thankfulness are the motivating factors.
Let me try an example:
Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
We are empowered to forgive one another, because we are already forgiven. We should not be motivated in forgiving one another out of fear, obligation or debt.
Learning about Christ and what he's done for us does take study.
II Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Hopefully my explanation makes sense.

Unfortunately, that IS the motivation for most of us.
