You know what... I always use "preview reply" before making any post, even the most simple one. I like to check the formatting and I look for that little text at the top of my previewed post to see if I miscounted and have more than ten.
It also keeps you from having your post wiped clean... :D: :wave
I even use it multiple times on long posts because if I accidentally hit the backspace key and it takes me back a page I still have most of my post saved!
:doh :thumb

PS - not having a "preview post" option for PM's drives me insane. :lol I usually use the "preview reply" in a random thread in Test Forum to check out my PM's before sending them, and then I just close that window and discard the test post.

What is a clipboard?:confused

When you right click and hit copy or cut, it goes to what windows calls the clipboard :):

When you copy something (by selecting it and hitting Ctrl+C or Edit >> Copy), it goes to a file called the "clipboard." At least, that's the way it works in Windows and Linux, I don't know about Macs.
It works the same when you "cut" a file or some text with Ctrl+X or Edit >> Cut. However, it disappears from the screen when you cut it, whereas it stays with a copy.
Confused? Good.

Well I understand how to cut/copy and that is probably where I should just stay in my understanding. Don't really want to hurt my brain. :doh

Uh, the Mac had cut, copy and paste before Windows did.
