We faithful are here. Some out of choice, and me because I have no real life. I pour out my very soul in these posts on Friday evenings with little or no response.
Am I a leper, shunned by all society? Or is it everyone else has a place to be, friends to be with, crackling fires to warm their cockles while mine shiver in isolation.
Anyone else out there with cold cockles tonight?

duck my wife is pulling a double today (she's a RN) and I am home alone.......I will read your posts......:):
I feel sorry for those who are in the bars tonight, shacked up, fooling around on their spouse, doing things they shouldn't do. What a way to live if Jesus suddenly returned......
I'd rather be on here posting and reading.
God bless them all and may they turn to Jesus while they still have time.

The poochie is Duck, my dog.
Cam, I can identify with a wife as an RN working doubles. That may have been where she met Mr Wonderful.
I wish I had a wife to be fooling around with on the couch, a stool, where ever. But that is grist for another thread. Perhaps about isolation on Saturdays?

oo why are you burning DVDs
Duckdogger I feel your pain.. I am the only girl at Penn State who doesn't date (much less been on one) but thats ok.. I won't be catching Aids any time soon (Our campus is the most explosive of AIDS campus) Nothing has changed in people's lifestyles though..
I only spend 5-6 hours a day here........only........

Sorry to hear about your wife Duckdogger :sigh . I've been on the receiving end myself, but we were able to work it out, so I kind of know what you have been through.
Cameron, you'll make it till she gets back won't ya? Tracts, you probably wouldn't want to date most of the guys there.
In answer to your question Tracts...We just finished a training DVD and they gave their final approval today of it. Now 2 regions want 40 copies out by Monday. It's a 2 disc set in a complete DVD jacket. Then everyone else will want theirs probably in the next week or 2 which means I will have to make about 160 more copies of it. (320 discs) Hopefully I will have a couple of more burners next week, that will make it go faster.

I would wager there are some Christian men at PSU. They can't all be hedonists and rowdys.

You are probably right. I just read in another post that she deserted us and was going to some Eden Play that the school was doing...one never knows where they might run into that someone special.
If you don't mind me asking, and if you do, just say "it's none of your business." Why don't you date?

My life...
Well, besides the XBOX I just bought.. (I LOVE MADDEN FOOTBALL AND PGR 2 RACING)...
I don't think I ever had much of a private life.. It's either working deep in the bunker or above ground for myself. Yeah, If you;re interested I'll tell you about my new business. I like to talk.. LOL
I have an awesome life. I have my wonderful wife, I have a well paying job, and I have a new online business I just started, and I have JC... How can things be any better????

Hey, my fiancee is in California...I'm in Michigan. Oy vay. I'm here on RR, too, because there's 2000 miles to go to see the only person I'd like to.
Godspeed,

I am using 2 right now, one is a 1x, first generation...burning the smaller one on that and the other is a 4x and it kicks...I am about a 1/3 of the way through! Do you keep up with this? Just curious, if you do, what have you read about the 6 & 8x burners? I am not gung ho on the 6x, i've read a lot of negative things about playback, etc...

I picked up a Sony 4X DVD burner. It works GREAT, but it takes 30 minutes to burn a 2 gig movie!
I almost got the Plextor 6X but didn't want to pay 75 more bucks.

My 4x is a pioneer and I can burn a 3.9 gig in 14 minutes. I am burning from a program, so I don't know if that makes a difference. www.Shop4tech.com has great prices on their burners. Last time I looked they had 4x Pioneer burners for $129 plus free ground shipping. (when we bought our first burner we paid over $700 or $800 for it...:doh) I buy all of my DVD's and cases from them.

Here's a particularly sweet deal. I have used several spindles of the house brand and have not had any problems. They burn fine on a 4x. The other good thing about them is that they are silver sided with no printing on top. :thumb
