Why don't we get rid of post counts. That way no one will be mad when you prune, and people could have a lot more free time! I mean what is the point of having the counts if there is not a contest or anything? Doggonit, some times I am just brilliant!!

My thread wasn't about my ego re: post counts. I had thought that the admins, as a joke or to put me in my place, had changed it. In fact, it was a server glitch, according to Paul, and my posts have been preserved and you can see the actual count under "search".

I've been good and not been whining about it for a while, I think. If you think I have been whining about it aside from that thread, please tell me here in this thread.

Plus, b/c of the nature of the beast, you could see your post count when you click on the "search" button underneath one of your posts, where it says "Post 1 of xxx".

Honestly I've never thought about my post counts at all... except when someone brings it to my attention. :P:

You should have seen this place before we removed the post count from the threads. It used to be with the Username and location.

Well I guess that settles it, but I don't see the reason for post counts either. Especially if it's going to cause so much competition that people get upset over it. :confused
