Just wanted to know where you are standing these days. The "church" at large seems to be heading into the prevailing wind of tolerance and acceptance of those things which the Bible declares to be sin and death to man. Does the Bible call us to embrace and love at all cost? Or does the Bible tell us to do battle with the evil one through the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus and to stand at all costs for what is right according to the Word of God? Is He clear on this? Standing for what is right is now wrong? Does God change?

Mal 3:6 For I [am] the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
For the rest, read 2 Corinthians 10.
We are ALWAYS to be ready for Spiritual warfare.
We can love someone without condoning their actions-- which are sin.
If they are in our congregation/group of friends, and claim Messiah-- we are to call them on their sin... but in private.

it really gets my goat when liberals out there claim that "love the sinner, hate the sin" is a lot of rhetorical nonsense. As if such a concept is beyond reality or their grasp!
Makes you wonder if any of those fools ever had kids... :tsk

It's not either-or...it's both. Whether we are contending for the truth, or reaching out in mercy, our motivation should always be love.
Eph 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Eph 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Loving without speaking the truth is deceitful and speaking the truth without love is destructive. If I claim to love someone but withhold the truth that they need to be saved, my love is empty and false. If I love someone, I will tell them what they need to hear, even if it's not pleasant. On the other hand, if I speak the truth, but do it in such a hateful way that I misrepresent Christ, then I do more harm than good. I can actually become the stumbling block that hinders someone from hearing the gospel. We shouldn't speak truth without love and we can't love without telling the truth...we should speak the truth in love.
