LORD COME QUICKLY

"Maranatha – The Lord is Coming Soon!”

Maranatha is two Aramaic words, Marana tha, meaning “Come, O Lord.”

1 Corinthians 16:22 says, “If anyone does not love the Lord – a curse be on him. Come, O Lord! (or Maranatha!)

Revelations 22:20 says, “He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.” (or Maranatha!)

The Aramaic expression reveals the expectant hope in which early Christians lived, watching for the imminent return of Christ and means as much for Christians today as we eagerly await the return on the Lord, Jesus Christ as prophesied in the Holy Scriptures.
