Has anyone els seen this movie? I think it's a hilarious satire of some of the problems that have plagued religion in general throughout the centuries.

I hope you realize "Every Sperm is Sacred" comes from Meaning of Life? I don't want you to get your Monty Python films mixed up.:D:
LoB is hilarious. One cannot help but laugh when you hear the line:
MAN #1:
I think it was 'Blessed are the cheesemakers.'
JESUS:
...right prevail.
MRS. GREGORY:
Ahh, what's so special about the cheesemakers?
GREGORY:
Well, obviously, this is not meant to be taken literally. It refers to any manufacturers of dairy products.

Great humor, MP.
I am suprised that there are new viewers today. These were in my VCR regularly in the mid-80's.
Welcome to my world!

Hate to be the "old guy" here but it is a parody right? I was always frightened to watch such "stuff". I love Python. ..But this I never watched. I'm was never quite sure that God has that "kind" of sense of humor.

Reg: All right, but apart from the sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?
Attendee: Brought peace?
Reg: Oh, peace -- shut up!
Reg: There is not one of us who would not gladly suffer death to rid this country of the Romans once and for all.
Dissenter: Uh, well, one.
Reg: Oh, yeah, yeah, there's one. But otherwise, we're solid.

Brian: I am NOT the Messiah!
Arthur: I say you are Lord, and I should know. I've followed a few.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mandy: What star sign is he?
Wise Man #2: Capricorn.
Mandy: Capricorn, eh? What are they like?
Wise Man #2: He is the son of God, our Messiah.
Wise Man #1: King of the Jews.
Mandy: And that's Capricorn, is it?
Wise Man #3: No, no, that's just him.
Mandy: Oh, I was going to say, otherwise there'd be a lot of them.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brian: What will they do to me?
Ben the Prisoner: Oh you'll probably get away with crucifixion.
Brian: CRUCIFIXION?
Ben the Prisoner: Yeah, first offense.

As you can see I love this movie
