The Gospel of John - the movie

Has anyone heard anything about this. It's slated to open in Toronto this Friday. From the trailer it looks pretty good.

never heard of it - the movie that is...

this reminds me of a recurring thought i've always had... that if i were mega rich i'd go out and finance a bigtime Bible movie focusing on Christ.

like if i were bill gates rich... or even if i had a few hundred million dollars...

I ordered the DVD's off the website:thumb It is supposed to be shipped on or before Nov 5th, so it probably won't stay in theatres long.:(:

It's a 3-DVD set! Looks like it's pretty thorough.

I saw this movie on Wednesday. This isn't your typical movie, in that the wording is directly out of the book of John...It is 3 hours long. I would recommend just because it's about Christ.
