I like to keep the Spirit of Christmas with me year round.
I love Christmas!
I am expecially looking forward to when "Christmas Comes Again"
The First Christmas was when Christ came as a baby Oh what a contrast to when he comes agian.
I lost my notes from when Dr. David Jeremiah taught on "When Christmas Comes Again" on this. Does anyone have a comparision.
1st as a baby
2nd as the King of kings
. . .
Krispy, cheer up! Christmas is wonderful!

"The Wonder of It All"
When Jesus came the first time, He came in a manger.
When He comes again, He is coming in majesty.
The first time, He shed His royal blood for our redemption.
When He comes again, He is going to be dressed
in royal robes to reign in righteousness.
The first time, He came to a crucifixion.
When He comes again, He is coming to a coronation.
No longer will He wear a crown of thorns,
but He will wear a diadem of glory.
The first time He came, He was despised and rejected of men.
When He comes again, every knee will bow.
The clouds will be resplendent in glory
as He triumphantly steps out of heaven.
And we will meet Him face to face.
Hallelujah.
It may be sooner than we think!

That was lovely Ponderin. And yes I love Christmas. Its a time to reflect on our wonderful Savior and the awesome gift he brought to the world.
Of course its also a time for shiny decorations and presents. I have already been thinking on how I should decorated this year. Wal-Mart has the sparkly greenery out all ready. It is my opinion that everything looks better if it has glitter on it.:nod

Looking forward to celebrating CHRISTmas this year!! I even started playing my Christmas *angel music* CDs at work yesterday!!! They bring me such joy as I await "the 2nd Christmas".
Christians shouldn't debate inconsequential issues like the exact date of His birth. Doesn't matter when the Savior was born.......it only matters THAT He was born!!!

Concerning Christmas:
I had posted in another site a while back about how the 'Christmas' holiday had gotten out of hand commercially!
We had so, so much family that we had to buy for (28) immediate family. I had ask other RR what they do about this and got some good responses.
Well good news, MIL called and wanted to know if we all could not buy gifts, but just get together for a nice meal and do just the homemade cookies and stuff. Oh!....I was elated!
On my side of the family, we have a younger sister that has caused so much stife and heartache in our family this past year. ( but she is the youngest(44 !!) and my parents thinks she does no wrong. Well, she doesn't want to have Christmas, with any of us, so my parents are cancelling Christmas, and going out of town. :(:
But to be honest my family spent way too much $ and it was expected in return,(way out of hand). So this much is such a relief, even though the other aspect of it (family gathering) is shot to put!
Me and my other sisters and dh will have a small get together though.
I am really glad this will be our first Christmas that is not commercialized. I think we are going to enjoy it.( we will get something for the kids and grandkids though).
It's just going to be nice to bake cookies and candy and enjoy the Birth, instead of fighting crowds, shopping, wrapping, who we got what, worring about if your budget is going to withstand..Whew! :laugh
