What do you make of this site?
I have found some things I agree with but this article is a bit much for me.

Yeah, that's a bit much.:laugh
Candles can't conjure demons. They may be used in ceremonies to conjure demons, but they aren't doing the conjuring.:doh

Booga Booga!
Lets add superstition to the Word of God! If candles were so bad, why isn't that mentioned already in the Word? Gee. Its not like candles havent been used for thousands of years to light the darkness...
These guys are giving fallen angels a lot more power than they deserve.
Sure we can be oppressed by fallen angels, but a saved man on his knees in prayer communicates directly with God. What fallen angel can stand in that light?! My God is my shield and my refuge. I shall fear no evil, nor shall I fear any candle.

Is this what is meant by the verse about Satan appearing as an angel of light? They meant Yankee candles?
Sorry, that's going to far. The site also mentioned the smell of a candle inviting something in. In which case, that potpouri, air freshener and perfume you all have is a danger too. I don't discount demonic activity by any means, but to ban candles? That doesn't seem scriptural.

Don't laugh. If a candle had the chance, it'd kill you and everyone you loved...

The test should be whether an item is primarily used for conjuring up spirits. Candles have a long history of practical use; ouija boards, on the other hand, should be avoided like the plague!
Come to think of it, I did have a nightmare once about spirits invading my home and lighting all the candles. No Yankee candles, though, which makes sense, because you just can't spook anyone with the aroma of vanilla or a fresh spring breeze.

This reminds me of what Jesus said to the pharisees about straining out gnats but choking on camels. LOL...
This is a prime example of people looking for demons behind every bush and forgetting Who we should be focusing on.

Some believe rock music and rhythm are of the Devil... so watch out for your washer when it's on "spin cycle"! It should be called "sin cycle" cuz that baaaad rhythm could conjure up demons! Evidence of this evil spin cycle rhythm's control over people is our second son... (think about it) ;):

Looks like these people are more fascinated with devil-hunting than they are with reaching the lost. Folks should be careful what they dabble in.
My advice to them is that they need to refocus their attention on Jesus.
