View Full Version : Do all spirits have the same potential strength?

Are some spirits--our personal spirits--stronger than others? Is that why some people--good and evil--are so persuasive?
And if you have a very strong spirit, does that mean you are capable of great good or much evil, depending on the path you choose?
For example, Paul was very bad and then very good.
Do we all receive the same amount of grace from God?
Are spiritual giants just more capable of receiving grace?

As far as the 'strength' of the spirit is concerned, I would assume we all have as much as we need to accomplish God's purpose for us.

I could be wrong and this is just my opinion, but could a persons spiritual strength depend on how much and with what that person feeds their spirit. I mean if a person studies God's word and prays fervently do they not feed their spirit? I don't know if I explained myself very well, but if a person is doing the right things as they pertain to worship, prayer, and study, it seems to me that those actions would strengthen them.

This is how I would see it...your correct in saying that we "feed" our spirits, therefore I believe we would also "strengthen" our spirit. (through the reading and studying of God's Word...and when we practice that too? yea, we would be strengthened...but it all comes with faith and obedience too eh?)

I believe it has MUCH to do with how willing you are to submit yourself COMPLETELY, in all ways, to God's will, crucifying your own.
